KISS DESTROYER Authentic RIAA PLATINUM RECORD AWARD Gene Simmons / Paul Stanley
Decent photographs were difficult to take, due to reflections and glare. In the photos, the platinum record seems to have a mottled appearance, but the actual record does not. It is in excellent condition.
Original RIAA Gold Record Award. This award commemorates the sale of over 1,000,000 copies of the album DESTROYER, on Casablanca Records. (This album was certified platinum by RIAA on November 11, 1976.)
This award was presented to KISS' early costume designer, Maria Contessa of Contessa Studios in New York.
Included is an original COA hand-signed by Maria Contessa, and her personal business card. Maria has also added her autograph to the backside of the award.
This authentic RIAA award is in original black wood frame, and measures 17 1/4" x 21 1/4". In excellent condition, with no damage.
GUARANTEED TO BE AN ORIGINAL AND AUTHENTIC RIAA AWARD, with the engraved RIAA hologram plaque.
