KISS 70s AWARD PLAQUE FROM THE US ARMY BILL AUCOIN OWNED RARE

This listing is for a RARE classic 70’s style award plaque presented to the band KISS from the United States Army. It was purchased directly from legendary original KISS manager, the Late Mr. Bill Aucoin.
I was the co-promoter of the New England KISS Expo and Bill was our special guest several times, as many may know when Bill was doing the convention circuit he was selling much of his personal collection of KISS artifacts from the 70’s and this is one of them.
He told me they had let the Army use some KISS songs for a promotional recruitment campaign in the 70’s and this was presented to them as a Thank You. I have no documentation or proof of the event but this is a genuine vintage KISS item purchased directly from Bill Aucoin by me. I have included some photos of myself with Bill and some of the other items I bought from him over the years.
It is a classic 70’s style wooden plaque measuring 7”x8 ¼” with a colorful raised enamel United States Army logo and brass inscription plate. I mounted iton felt and framed it in a standard 8”x10”x2” shadow box frame. It is in excellent condition for its age and looks great on display.
I can only assume the Army used this style plaque for many military service presentations but I bet KISS is the only rock band to get one!
